I came home tonight thinking about what I was going to throw on for supper and what not. I pulled in, saw the water trailer sitting in the front yard (UGH..) and didn't think anything different. I came inside the house and was going to clean out my lunch box with a wet rag. I turned the faucet on annnnnnnd nothing. NO WATER!! So I search around the freezer for something that I can make that doesn't involve water. I find a chicken casserole and throw it in the mini pizza oven (because the big oven STILL doesn't work).
I walk outside as Logan is walking over to the house from the field. I yell and ask him if the water is on for the water truck...OF COURSE IT IS!! With that running, AND the cows drinking, I HAVE NO WATER!! WHY am I always the one that has to suffer??!!!
Between this water sucker and the thirsty cows, it looks like I will have no water for a while!!
Farm Girl Tip # 34: When this thing is in your front yard, you will have no water!! Be prepared!!
